But what about the Bible? Speaking of Sin

Rev. Dr. Derrick Harkins joins Many Voices to invite you to our next exploration of Scripture and respectful dialogue.

Rev. Dr. Ron Hopson, Associate Professor of Psychology and Divinity at Howard University, holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and was ordained to Christian ministry in 1988. Dr. Hopson’s current work is in the area of Sexuality and the Black Church. He has presented and conducted workshops in the U.S., Europe and Africa. There is so much talk these days about justice for gay and transgender people, but where can you safely get your questions answered and your concerns addressed?

Rev. Dr. Ron Hopson will lead us in taking another look at Scripture and our use of the Bible.

What is our biblical mandate in regard to sin?
How shall we express God’s unconditional love?
Can we be both Christian and affirming of gay and transgender experience?

Please don’t miss this opportunity to dialogue confidentially with your peers in ministry. There’s so much to learn, and Many Voices offers a safe space.
