Prayer for unity

One in the Spirit and one in worship — we pray!

 

Loving, accepting, welcoming God, your people come before you in gratitude for the things you have done and in awesome wonder of the things we are capable of doing with you.

We come before you, humbly asking for your Spirit to shower us with the love you have for all humanity.

We come before you, ready to follow Jesus’ steps in proclaiming liberation, joy, reconciliation, and love to all.

We come as one body, yet many members; we are people of many colors, of many genders, of many sexual orientations, of many economic situations, of different kinds of families, yet we are one in you.

Be with us as we continue proclaiming your grace for the entire world through our actions and lives.

Amen.
