Rev. Celestine Brooks

Rev. Brooks is the founding Pastor of Philadelphia Community Fellowship (PCF), an opening and affirming ministry that meets in the William Way Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender Community Center in Center City, Philadelphia. Rev. Brooks is the first out lesbian of color to found a ministry in Philadelphia.

Pastor Brooks received minister training at Greater Hope Fellowship in Philadelphia, PA. She was licensed and ordained to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ by Gateway Ministries of Hope, Philadelphia in October 2007. Rev. Brooks is an associate minister at Hope United Church of Christ where Deborah Savage is the founding pastor. Hope is located in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

Pastor Brooks is a United Church of Christ student in-care attending Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania; enrolled in the Master of Divinity Program.
