This 26-minute DVD examines sexual orientation in African American communities within the context of the traditional values of freedom, inclusion, and the Christian ethic. Using images, music and text, it artfully bridges the issues of race and sexual orientation in a supportive, uncompromising manner.
Discussion Guide available for free download includes brief background information on related topics, discussion questions, list of prominent gay, lesbian and bisexual people of African descent, and suggested reading list.
